Our forests provide habitat for 80,000 white-tailed deer. Approximately 22,000 moose roam here. About 16,000 black bear hibernate through our winter. You can fish for Atlantic Salmon on the legendary Miramichi and Restigouche Rivers. There are over 19,884 miles of winding rivers and streams and over 3,000 un-crowded lakes here. New Brunswick also has excellent habitat for waterfowl and upland birds.
